People are feeling more isolated than ever. We are also less trusting of experts and leaders. The end result is the sense that no one cares, no one is in charge and you are on your own. But the story of Gideon reminds us that even when it seems like no one has your back, God is still present, still in charge, and calls you to be the change you want to see.
